Going to Microsoft Campus Connect 2.0 was a chance to learn more about the engineering culture, latest technologies, and professional environment at Microsoft.
Microsoft Campus Connect 2.0 consisted of several interesting sessions: on the development of AI agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio, the experiences of early-career professionals at Microsoft and discussions on topics such as diversity, inclusion, and culture.
One of the most technically informative sessions I've attended was Next-Generation Engineering: Mastering Microsoft Copilot Agents that introduced me to the concepts of AI agent development, multi-agent orchestration and workflow automation.
Another great thing about the early-career experience sessions was the opportunity to learn more about the transition from education to professional software engineering, getting to know the career opportunities and development in the technology sector.
Apart from technical sessions, the event also gave the chance to connect with other tech enthusiasts, learn more about the industry expectations, and discuss the interaction between AI and modern software development.
Takeaways:
⦿ Learned about Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI agent development.
⦿ Learned about multi-agent orchestration and intelligent workflows.
⦿ Gained insights on transitioning from academia to industry.
⦿ Learned about the approach of Microsoft to diversity and inclusive engineering cultures.
